Biography
Simon is a specialist in environment, planning and mining law with a proven track record of advising clients on all aspects of project approvals for large resources, energy and infrastructure projects.
He has extensive experience in advising on environmental planning and protection, native title, mining and petroleum and administrative law. He regularly provides complex planning, environment and mining advice to major private and public sector clients.
Prior to joining Minter Ellison Simon worked in a Top 100 ASX listed corporation as a civil and environmental engineer and for the New South Wales Government as a senior policy and legal advisor. Simon is also a qualified Above Ground Mine Manager and has managed various quarries in the NSW construction industry.
