Biography
James is a dispute resolution partner specialising in insolvency, corporate reconstruction and banking related litigation. He advises a number of Australia's leading financial institutions on insolvency and fraud issues. He also advises creditors and insolvency practitioners. A strength of his practice is acting for secured lenders in work-out and litigation roles and in the provision of insolvency advice.
In addition to his insolvency and dispute resolution practice, James is partner responsible for Minter Ellison's national relationship with Westpac Banking Corporation's dispute resolution team. James is also a lead partner for Minter Ellison's Anti-Money Laundering team.
James is recognised by Asia Pacific Legal 500 as 'very strong' for restructuring and insolvency.
