Biography
Mark leads our national energy and resources industry group and also heads our practice in Brisbane.
He has worked in commercial law since 1983 and focused almost exclusively on utilities since 1992. He has advised in major electricity, gas, water and cogeneration projects throughout Australia and South East Asia; power purchase agreements; technology transfers; trade practices issues; and M&A transactions.
Mark is the founding editor of the firm's publication 'Energy in Australia and New Zealand', now in its 7th edition.
Mark's expertise in the sector has been recognised independently in Chambers Global (2008 and 2009), Best Lawyers International: Australia (2009 and 2010), Who's Who of International Energy Lawyers (2009), and Doyle's Guide where he is listed as a Preeminent Australian E&R lawyer (2009).
