Biography
Costas specialises in M&A (negotiated, friendly and hostile), P2Ps, and corporate and securities law (including capital raisings). He has led teams advising on more than $45 billion worth of acquisitions, including some of Australia's leading and most complex transactions. These include Australia's largest takeover bid that allowed shareholders to accept under the takeover offer or have their shares bought back, Australia's first takeover to achieve a two tiered pricing structure and the first major P2P of an Australian listed REIT. Costas has extensive experience dealing with M&A and securities related regulators.
He is recognised as a leading Australian M&A practitioner by numerous guides.
