Biography
Hilary has nearly 20 years' experience in Hong Kong acting on the acquisition, development, funding and disposal of infrastructure, commercial and investment properties. These include theme parks and resorts, container terminals, industrial plants, retail high tech industrial estate as well as residential development. She has particular experience in property development, with a special focus on the tourism and leisure sector and in commercial leasing and valuation.
With her pan-Asian experience, Hilary is very well respected in the development and planning field. She is also recognised as one of the leading Asian landlord and tenant lawyers with particular experience in rent review valuation.
Hilary is widely recognised in the market in these areas, and has been involved in editing The Hong Kong Institute of Surveyor's Guidance Notes for Surveyors acting as an Independent Expert in Commercial Property Rent Reviews in 2000. She has been appointed to give compulsory training workshops to The Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS) panel of independent experts.
Hilary joined Minter Ellison in 2009 from Cordells. She was qualified in England in 1985 and admitted in Hong Kong in 1987.
