Biography
Cris is the lead partner in our Darwin office and has acted in a number of significant property and engineering projects and disputes conducted in the Northern Territory in the last decade including:
successfully resolving litigation for a multinational mine equipment supplier with a claim value of more than A$300 million
major infrastructure projects such as the Alice Springs Railway and Darwin Port development.
Additionally, Cris has a leading role in arbitration and mediation initiatives in the Northern Territory, chairing the Northern Territory Chapter of the Institute of Arbitrators & Mediators Australia. He is one of the leading solicitors in the Northern Territory appearing for parties in commercial mediation, expert determination and other dispute resolution forums and was recognised in the Best Lawyers: Australia (2010) for his litigation work
